FRIENDLY FOLK RECORDS - SAMPLER is a compilation album of releases from 2017 to present. We have enabled streaming on each track, but no downloads, as we prefer you go to the Artist page and purchase the downloads and CDs directly from their page.

About the labels..... In 2016, the creation of a full service record label for folk genre musicians, became the focus of Kathy Keller, Owner/Founder, and Friendly Folk Records signed their first Artists in 2017. Friendly Folk Promotions officially replaced the original music promotion and management service, My Music Matters Management Triad; (MMM-MT) and in 2020, was the startup of sister label, OOB Records, a record label to support multiple genres. From 2014-2017. MMM-MT was a springboard to learn every aspect of the music business: management, A&R, promotion, production, and distribution, and then sharing that knowledge with start-up musicians. In addition, offering full management and promotion services to seasoned Artists.

In 2018, MMM-MT hit a crossroads and had to make a hard decision, letting go Progressive Rock Artists and focus on promoting the new folk label, or skip the folk label and focus on Prog Artists. At that time there were no Folk labels in the Netherlands, so, Friendly Folk Records was the first label project .

In 2021 there was a shift in interest and support (and active fanbase market), placing OOB Records as the predominant label, with the majority of FFR Artists now releasing on both labels. In 2023, the labels have blended together in most aspects, while retaining their individual identities, logos, and websites..
